Restaurant DANO
A European cafe with American fare, DANO presents affordable dishes worthy of five stars in a casual, relaxed setting. By combining various pieces of his extensive culinary background and regularly seating customers for lunch himself, Dan Kobin takes special care to create a dining experience that is both reminiscent of the familiarity of a small-town coffee shop paired with top quality epicurean delights. With the only sidewalk café on Fifth Avenue, DANO is known for their “Big Salads”, topped with hearty portions of tuna, salmon, shrimp and Asian style chicken, other signature dishes include Herb Marinated Chicken, Calamari with Mexican Poblano Chile and Avocado Lime Aioli.
During the warmer months, Restaurant DANO also offers sidewalk café seating. The only restaurant on Fifth Avenue that has it, DANO customers take full advantage of the al fresco option from late spring to early fall.
